UMUAHIA – July 15, 2025

The member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon. Amobi Ogah, has declared that Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has already secured his re-election through his remarkable performance in infrastructural development across the state.

Speaking to newsmen in Umuahia over the weekend, Hon. Ogah stated confidently that, “If election holds today, Dr. Alex Otti will win without stress. He has already delivered himself with visible, impactful infrastructure and people-oriented policies.”

Ogah, who is known for his forthright opinions and grassroots engagement, noted that Governor Otti’s administration has significantly transformed Abia’s landscape in just under two years in office, earning him the admiration and support of the people across party lines.

“From roads to hospitals, schools to markets, and even the civil service reforms, Governor Otti has shown what true governance should look like. Abians are seeing results, not propaganda,” he said.

He further called on all stakeholders to join hands in supporting the governor to complete his first term and beyond, stressing that development should be the collective goal, not politics.

“As a representative of the people, I must say what they are saying. The people are happy. And when the people are happy, democracy is working,” Ogah added.

With this bold endorsement from a federal lawmaker, the political temperature in Abia State is expected to heat up, as permutations for 2027 gradually take shape.
