“YOU SERVED WITH HONOUR” – CHINEDUM ORJI CELEBRATES EX-SPEAKER MARTINS AZUBUIKE ON HIS BIRTHDAY

Umuahia, Nigeria – July 16, 2025

The immediate past Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has extended warm birthday wishes to Rt. Hon. Martins Azubuike, describing him as a seasoned legislator and patriotic son of Abia.

In a goodwill message made available to newsmen on Wednesday, Engr. Orji hailed Azubuike’s contributions to legislative development in Abia State, especially during his tenure as the 5th Speaker of the State Assembly.

According to the statement, “Rt. Hon. Martins Azubuike is a man whose political journey has been marked by dignity, purpose, and a strong commitment to service. On this special day, I join his family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating a man of immense legislative experience and leadership.”

He continued, “Your time as Speaker paved the way for reforms that are still being felt in the Assembly today. I wish you continued strength, sound health, and peace as you mark this new chapter.”

Chinedum Orji, who also served as the 7th Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, noted that the state remains proud of leaders like Azubuike who have shown character and capacity in both public and private life.

Martins Azubuike, known for his calm leadership style and legislative prowess, represented Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency and served as Speaker between 2015 and 2016.
