As a new month dawns, renowned industrialist and former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Nigeria, urging citizens to embrace August with renewed hope, unity, and a shared commitment to national progress.

In a statement released early Friday morning, Dr. Ogah described the beginning of a new month as “another divine opportunity for individuals, communities, and the nation to reflect, reposition, and rededicate themselves to purposeful living.”

“I welcome all fellow Nigerians to the month of August, a time traditionally associated with abundance, harvest, and new beginnings,” Dr. Ogah said. “Despite the challenges we may face, we must continue to believe in the strength of our people, the potential of our land, and the power of unity.”

He emphasized the need for resilience and patriotism, especially among the youth, encouraging them to stay focused and innovative in their various endeavors. Dr. Ogah also called on leaders at all levels to make deliberate efforts to improve the welfare of citizens and foster inclusive development.

“Let us not lose sight of the fact that Nigeria is still a land of immense opportunity. We must not be discouraged by temporary setbacks. August is another chapter in the story of our lives, let it be a chapter of courage, enterprise, and compassion,” he added.

Dr. Ogah, known for his philanthropic initiatives and advocacy for economic empowerment, concluded his message by praying for peace, security, and progress in all regions of the country.

“May this new month bring divine favour, good health, and fresh breakthroughs to every home. I wish all Nigerians a productive and prosperous August,” he said.
