The Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) has directed security agencies nationwide to deepen collaboration in safeguarding Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI).

In line with this directive, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abia State Command, led by Commandant Akinsola Aderemi, convened a state-level coordination meeting with heads of security agencies and key stakeholders.

The meeting focused on developing comprehensive strategies for the protection of critical assets, stressing the need for synergy and collective responsibility.

As part of the initiative, representatives of government agencies, private organisations, and community leaders participated in an interactive forum to deliberate on best practices for asset protection and identify emerging threats in the state.

According to a statement by the NSCDC Public Relations Officer, ASC II Doreen Udugwu, the engagements were designed to enhance stakeholder collaboration and promote a coordinated approach to securing vital national infrastructure across Abia State.
