Abia NSCDC Marks International Day of Peace with Cross-Town Walk

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abia State Command, on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, joined the global community to commemorate the International Day of Peace with activities promoting harmony and peaceful coexistence.

Led by State Commandant Akinsola Aderemi, the celebration featured a cross-town peace walk through major streets in Umuahia, in line with this year’s theme, “Act Now for a Peaceful World.”
