The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that shortlisted candidates for its ongoing recruitment exercise will now take their aptitude tests online.

In a statement signed by the Board’s Secretary, Major General (Rtd) A.M. Jibril, and released on Tuesday, the CDCFIB disclosed that the recruitment portal — recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — will officially close on Friday, November 7, 2025. Applicants are advised to visit the site to confirm their shortlisting status.

The statement further revealed that the online test will be conducted from Wednesday, November 12, to Wednesday, November 19, 2025, adding that no physical Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres will be used. Candidates who initially selected CBT centres are to revisit the portal to choose a suitable date and time for their online assessment.

According to the Board, the test link will be published on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Applicants are urged to ensure they have reliable internet access and appropriate devices to complete the test successfully, while strictly adhering to the provided guidelines to avoid disqualification.

Major General Jibril reaffirmed the Board’s dedication to a credible process, assuring that “the recruitment exercise remains smooth, fair, and transparent.”
