Some wounds are not on the skin. They are in the heart. The kind that nobody sees. The kind you smile over in public but cry about in private. Many people are walking around with silent pain. Pain from betrayal, disappointment, loss, or broken trust. But today, God wants you to know that He heals not only the body, but also the heart.
Jesus understands emotional pain. He was rejected, misunderstood, abandoned, and wounded by those He loved. This means He is not distant from your pain. He feels it with you. He walks with you through it.
“He is close to the brokenhearted.” Psalm 34:18
Healing of the heart is a process. Sometimes God does it suddenly. Sometimes slowly. But He always restores. Your heart will not stay in this condition forever. Joy will return. Peace will return. Strength will return. You will laugh again. You will love again. You will trust again.
“I will restore health to you and heal your wounds, says the Lord.” Jeremiah 30:17
Do not rush your healing. Take it one day at a time. God is working inside you. Even on the days when you feel weak, He is rebuilding you. Your story is not ending in pain. God is turning it into testimony.
As you enter this new week, let your heart breathe. You are not alone. God is with you, and He is gentle with your wounds.
“My peace I give to you.” John 14:27
Lord, You see the pain I do not speak about. Touch the places in my heart that are hurting. Heal me where I am broken. Give me peace where I feel heavy. Restore my joy and strengthen my spirit. Amen.
