Defence Minister Matawalle Visits Kebbi After Abduction of Maga Schoolgirls

Minister of State for Defence, Bello Mohammed Matawalle, has arrived in Kebbi State following President Bola Tinubu’s directive for swift action in response to the abduction of schoolgirls from Government Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga.

Matawalle was received with a brief military parade by Nigerian Army troops upon his arrival at Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport in Birnin Kebbi.

His visit marks a high-level Federal Government intervention aimed at enhancing coordination of ongoing search-and-rescue efforts and reinforcing security across vulnerable communities in the state.
