A group of legislative aides from the National Assembly affiliated with the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially declared its support for President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in 2027. The aides said they are ready to help mobilize support for his campaign across the country.

The endorsement was announced during the inauguration of members of the National Assembly Legislative Aides into the APC Support Groups Council in the nation’s capital. The aides emphasized their commitment to working closely with party structures to strengthen grassroots momentum for Tinubu’s re-election effort.

Leaders of the group described their backing as a demonstration of confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and in the vision of the ruling party as Nigeria approaches the 2027 general elections. They highlighted the need for unity within the party to ensure the success of the president’s second-term agenda.

The legislative aides also pledged to engage communities nationwide, encouraging citizens to support Tinubu’s re-election bid. They said their campaign will focus on raising awareness of the president’s achievements and promoting his policies as a pathway to national development.
