NASA set to launch a new crew of four astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) this Friday, February 13, 2026. The mission will lift off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida during the early morning hours.
The team will travel aboard the Crew Dragon capsule Freedom, aiming to dock with the ISS roughly a day after departure. Their arrival will bring the station back to full operational capacity, allowing ongoing scientific experiments and maintenance tasks to continue without interruption.
Preparations for the launch are in their final stages, with ground crews checking systems and ensuring favorable weather conditions for a safe journey.
Once aboard, the astronauts will carry out a range of research projects, support station upkeep, and contribute to international collaborations in space science and exploration.
