Kalu stated this while interacting with newsmen, where he spoke on the party’s growing grassroots engagement and ongoing efforts to strengthen its structure across the state.

The APC governorship aspirant noted that the party has continued to witness increased support from members and stakeholders in various parts of Abia, a development he described as a positive sign for its future electoral prospects.

He emphasized the need for unity within the party, stressing that cohesion among members and leaders would play a critical role in consolidating gains ahead of the 2027 polls. According to him, sustained mobilisation at the ward and local government levels remains key to expanding the party’s reach.

Kalu also said that his consultations with party leaders, stakeholders, and community groups are ongoing, adding that inclusive engagement would help shape policies that reflect the needs and expectations of the people of Abia State.

While acknowledging the competitive political landscape in the state, he maintained that the APC is gradually building momentum through strategic planning and grassroots connection.

He further urged party faithful to remain focused and committed, noting that consistency, organisation, and people-oriented programmes would be essential as the party prepares for the next election cycle.
