Army Prepares Troops for Mission, Emphasises Discipline and Professional Conduct

The Nigerian Army has commenced an intensive pre-deployment training programme aimed at equipping troops with the skills required for upcoming operations.

During the exercise, military authorities stressed the importance of professionalism, urging personnel to remain focused and committed to their duties. The training is designed to sharpen combat readiness, improve coordination, and ensure troops can effectively handle operational challenges in the field.

Commanders overseeing the programme warned soldiers to uphold the highest standards of discipline throughout the exercise and beyond. They made it clear that any form of misconduct would attract strict penalties, reinforcing the army’s zero-tolerance stance on indiscipline.

The leadership also encouraged participants to take the training seriously, noting that their performance would directly impact mission success. Troops were reminded that discipline, teamwork, and adherence to military ethics remain critical to achieving operational goals.
