President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his determination to defeat terrorism and restore security across Nigeria, saying his administration will not yield to those seeking to undermine the country’s peace and unity. The president spoke during an interfaith event in Abuja, where he stressed that although security challenges remain serious, extremists are under increasing pressure from ongoing operations and will ultimately be overcome.
Tinubu emphasised that national unity is unshakeable and that his government will continue to strengthen efforts to protect citizens and support security forces in their mission to dismantle criminal networks. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by troops and urged Nigerians not to lose hope despite recent attacks in parts of the North‑East.
In his address, the president also reaffirmed his commitment to economic growth and development, noting improvements in national finances and promising further investments in key sectors like agriculture and education to benefit future generations.
