NAFDAC Orders Withdrawal of Hazardous Male Enhancement Pills

Nigeria’s National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has ordered the recall of all batches of the male enhancement product MR.7 SUPER 700000 capsules after discovering serious safety concerns. Tests revealed that the product contained undeclared active ingredients not listed on its packaging.

Laboratory analysis showed that the capsules included sildenafil and tadalafil, compounds typically used in regulated erectile dysfunction medications. Because these substances were not disclosed, the product is considered an unapproved drug with unknown safety and effectiveness.

NAFDAC has instructed consumers and retailers to immediately stop using or selling the capsules and to return any remaining stock to the nearest agency office. Authorities also warned that the undeclared ingredients could interact dangerously with some prescription medicines, particularly for heart patients.

The agency encouraged the public and health professionals to report any adverse effects or suspicious products. This action underscores ongoing concerns about the risks posed by unregulated health supplements in the Nigerian market.
