The Abia 2027 Governorship Election Aspirant, Mascot Uzor Kalu, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to embrace sincerity and straightforwardness as vital instruments for achieving lasting political success. He made this known while speaking to newsmen, stressing that honesty in leadership remains the foundation upon which trust and unity are built.
Kalu noted that the strength of any political party lies not just in its numbers, but in the integrity of its processes and the transparency of its leaders. According to him, when party members speak truthfully and act with clear intentions, it fosters confidence among stakeholders and strengthens the party’s chances at the polls.
Speaking further, he emphasized that straightforwardness eliminates unnecessary suspicion and internal conflict, which often weaken party structures. He explained that when leaders are open about their ambitions and decisions, it creates room for healthy engagement and mutual respect among aspirants and supporters.
The governorship hopeful also urged party faithful in Abia State to remain focused and committed to the ideals of fairness and inclusiveness. He maintained that a united APC, built on sincerity, would be better positioned to deliver credible leadership and meaningful development to the people.
Kalu reaffirmed his belief in the capacity of the party to overcome internal challenges, provided members choose the path of honesty over manipulation. He added that sincerity is not a weakness in politics, but a strength that distinguishes credible leadership from opportunistic tendencies.
