Hon. Deacon Obioma Okorie, aspirant for Oru West State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, has described Governor Hope Uzodinma as a divinely prepared leader whose emergence rescued Imo State from collapse and instability.

Speaking during an interaction with stakeholders and supporters in Oru West, Obioma Okorie stated that the governor came into office at a critical moment in the history of the state when insecurity, economic challenges and infrastructural decay were threatening the future of Imo.

According to him, if not for the timely intervention and leadership of Governor Uzodinma, the state could have drifted into serious decline and uncertainty.

“At a very difficult time in this state, God prepared Senator Hope Uzodinma ahead for this task. If not for his leadership, courage and determination, Imo would have gone into extinction politically, economically and socially,” Obioma Okorie declared.

The House of Assembly hopeful praised the governor’s efforts in tackling insecurity across the state, noting that decisive actions taken by the administration helped restore confidence among residents and investors. He added that the governor’s commitment to peace and stability has continued to create an enabling environment for development and economic activities.

Obioma Okorie also commended the Uzodinma administration for massive infrastructural development, particularly in road construction and urban renewal projects across different parts of the state. He maintained that the visible transformation in infrastructure reflects purposeful governance and long term vision for the growth of Imo State.

On the economy, the Oru West aspirant noted that Governor Uzodinma’s policies and reforms have continued to strengthen economic opportunities, improve investor confidence and position the state for greater development. He further applauded the administration’s attention to youth empowerment and human capital development.

He urged the people of Imo State to continue supporting the governor’s developmental agenda, stressing that sustainable progress can only be achieved through unity, cooperation and continuity of purposeful leadership.

Obioma Okorie reaffirmed his commitment to aligning with policies and programmes that will promote peace, development and prosperity for the people of Oru West and Imo State at large.
