The National Vice Chairman, South East, of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Augustine Ehiemere, has called on Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, to return to APGA, describing the party as his true political home and the most stable platform for sustainable governance.

Ehiemere made the appeal during the Abia South Senatorial District APGA stakeholders’ meeting held last week in the state. He cautioned the governor against aligning with what he termed unstable political platforms, asserting that APGA remains “the healthiest and most stable political party in Nigeria today.”

“We are calling on Governor Alex Otti to return to his political home, APGA, where he began his journey,” Ehiemere stated.
“Labour Party is currently a breeding ground for crisis, ADC is in disarray, APC is not a safe option, and the PDP is already diminished. Only APGA provides the ideological consistency and stability he needs to continue delivering good governance.”

While commending Otti’s achievements in security and welfare, Ehiemere also applauded the collaboration between Otti and Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, particularly on the launch of the Abia State Security Trust Fund. He further praised Otti’s prompt payment of salaries and pensions but emphasized the need to clear outstanding gratuities owed to retirees.

Ehiemere concluded by encouraging APGA members across Abia South and the entire state to remain committed to the party’s principles and vision.
