The Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria (FFDGN) has expressed profound grief over the passing of Nigeria’s immediate past President, His Excellency Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR. According to official sources, the former leader died in a London hospital.
In a condolence statement released on Sunday, the Forum’s National Chairman and former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Dr. Chris Akomas, described Buhari as “a disciplined, principled, and patriotic Nigerian” whose lifelong dedication to public service left a lasting impact on the nation.
The statement, conveyed to the media by Akomas’ Special Adviser on Media, Comrade Chidi Asonye, highlighted Buhari’s enduring commitment to Nigeria’s progress. “It takes courage, sacrifice, and commitment to achieve what he did.
