The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Anambra State, Hon. Jude Ezenwafor, who was recently shot by unknown assailants in Abuja, has received a solidarity visit from top party leaders, including the Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed.

Governor Mohammed, accompanied by the Acting National Chairman of the PDP, Umar Damagum, and other party officials, visited Ezenwafor at his recovery location in Abuja. During the visit, the governor expressed concern over the attack and conveyed the party’s unwavering support for Ezenwafor ahead of the upcoming November 8, 2025 governorship election in Anambra State.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the Anambra State PDP, Hon. Chidi Chidebe, appreciated the visit and lauded the national leadership for standing by the state chapter during a challenging time. He reaffirmed the PDP’s commitment to unity, resilience, and a successful outing in the forthcoming election.

The incident, which has raised fresh concerns over political violence, has drawn widespread condemnation across party lines.
