The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has mourned the passing of the Emir of Gusau, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello, describing his death as a tremendous loss to the state and the entire nation.

The revered traditional ruler died in the early hours of Friday at the age of 71 after a prolonged illness. He passed away at Nizamiye Hospital in Abuja.

In a condolence message issued on behalf of the State Working Committee, party leaders, and members, APC State Chairman, Tukur Umar Danfulani, eulogized the late Emir as a visionary and principled leader who upheld the legacy of his forebears and worked tirelessly for the progress of the Gusau Emirate.

“Late Ibrahim Bello was a great leader known for his humility, strong faith, and unwavering dedication to the progress of his people,” Danfulani stated. “He will be fondly remembered for his exemplary leadership and service to humanity.”

The party extended its heartfelt sympathies to the Zamfara State Government, the Gusau Emirate Council, the State Council of Chiefs, and the people of Zamfara State.

The APC prayed for Allah’s mercy on the departed soul and for his eternal rest in Aljannatu Firdaus.
