The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced a one-week extension of its ongoing 2025 recruitment exercise for various paramilitary agencies.

In a statement released on Sunday, August 3, the Board’s Secretary, Maj. Gen. (Rtd) A.M. Jibril, revealed that the recruitment portal, originally scheduled to close on Monday, August 4, will now remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025.

Jibril stated that the extension aims to give more applicants the opportunity to participate in the exercise. He emphasized that the entire recruitment process is free of charge, warning applicants to be cautious of fraudsters.

“The Board wishes to notify the general public that the closing date for applications has been extended to August 11, 2025, to accommodate more interested candidates,” the statement read.

Applicants are urged to apply only through the official portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process.
