Four Adults, Three Children Kidnapped in Night Attack in Kwara

Gunmen have abducted seven persons, including four adults and three children, during a late-night attack in Isanlu Isin, Kwara State.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama, who disclosed the incident on X on Saturday, said the attack took place on Thursday night when armed men invaded Gaa Oloyin Manasara, Eleyinvia, firing sporadically before whisking their victims away.

Those kidnapped were identified as Adamu, 70; Olanrewaju, 1 year 2 months; Soliu, 1 year 3 months; Fatima, 27; Salamotu, 25; Ramota, 23; and Adijat, 3 years.

In response, security operatives, vigilante groups, and local hunters launched a search operation in the surrounding bushes. Authorities have assured that efforts are ongoing to rescue the victims and bring the perpetrators to justice.
