Deputy Speaker Kalu Rallies Nigerians at Harvard to Back Tinubu’s Economic Reforms, Reserved Seats Bill

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has urged Nigerians to throw their full support behind the economic reforms championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

Speaking over the weekend while engaging with the 2025/2026 Cohort of Nigerians at the Harvard Kennedy School, Cambridge, Massachusetts, Kalu stressed that the reforms are designed to stimulate economic growth, strengthen stability, and accelerate national development.

He described President Tinubu as an intentional leader charting a deliberate course for Nigeria’s progress, noting that such leadership demands patience and broad support.

Kalu also canvassed backing for the reserved seats bill currently before the National Assembly, emphasizing its importance in shaping inclusive governance.

Acknowledging that leaders are often viewed through diverse lenses, the Deputy Speaker said true reformers embrace continuous learning and knowledge to build lasting legacies.
