The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has alleged that Justice James Omotosho’s recent ruling against its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, was influenced by bribery and a promise of career advancement. According to the group, the judgment did not reflect fairness or judicial independence.

IPOB claimed that certain powerful interests manipulated the case to achieve a predetermined outcome. The movement argued that the ruling was politically motivated and aimed at weakening its agitation rather than delivering justice.

They further asserted that the alleged interference in the judicial process raises serious concerns about the integrity of Nigeria’s legal system. IPOB believes that such actions damage public confidence in the courts and endanger the rule of law.

The group called for a review of the ruling and urged Nigerians, as well as the international community, to condemn what it described as an unjust and compromised judgment. They insisted that those involved in influencing the outcome must be held accountable.
