A former choir member of Pastor Chris Okafor’s church has made serious allegations against the cleric, accusing him of sexual abuse, manipulation and coercion, including claims that she was pressured to terminate several pregnancies during an alleged secret relationship.

In a video confession that has since circulated widely on social media, the woman alleged that her interactions with the pastor began during a church service, where she was reportedly singled out under the guise of receiving a prophecy. She claimed this encounter later led to private meetings in his office, during which inappropriate advances were allegedly made.

According to her account, the alleged relationship began around 2015 and continued for several years, despite the pastor being married. She claimed the relationship resulted in multiple pregnancies and alleged that she was repeatedly pressured to terminate them, describing the experience as emotionally and psychologically distressing.

The woman further alleged that the cleric used his spiritual authority to influence her decisions, including discouraging her from maintaining other personal relationships. She claimed financial inducements and promises were also used to sustain the alleged relationship.

Since the video emerged, it has sparked intense debate and reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing shock and calling for a thorough investigation into the claims. As of the time of reporting, Pastor Chris Okafor has not issued any public response to the allegations.

The claims add to previous controversies involving the cleric, including earlier accusations made by other individuals, which have also generated public attention in the past.

Authorities have not confirmed or verified the latest allegations, and no official charges have been announced. The claims remain allegations, with calls from the public for due process and proper investigation.
