The All Progressives Congress (APC) says its ongoing electronic membership registration drive has surpassed seven million participants nationwide, a milestone party officials describe as evidence of strong grassroots interest. The figure was shared by the party’s National Youth Leader during a visit to several wards, where he also monitored progress and encouraged further participation.
Party leadership says the e‑registration exercise aims to modernise its membership database and better prepare for future political engagements, including elections and internal congresses. The digital platform is seen by supporters as a way to give more Nigerians, especially young people, an easy and efficient avenue to join the party.
During his visit to local government areas, the youth leader praised the high turnout and reiterated the importance of active participation in politics, urging more citizens to sign up before the end of the exercise.
The party believes reaching this threshold is a sign of confidence in its direction and strategy, highlighting increased mobilisation and interest across many states as it continues to push its registration campaign forward.
