The All Progressives Congress has rolled out a nationwide schedule for its internal leadership contests, mapping out when members across wards, local councils, states and zones will elect new party officials ahead of a national convention.
According to the party’s programme, the process will begin with membership verification and administrative updates before moving into nomination, screening and voting phases at different organisational levels. Each stage has specific deadlines for submission of forms, clearance of aspirants and resolution of disputes.
Party authorities also released the fees attached to various leadership positions, with the nomination form for the national chairmanship fixed at ₦10 million. Lower offices carry smaller charges, while women, young members and persons with disabilities are expected to receive concessions.
The leadership said the structured timetable is aimed at ensuring orderly transitions within party structures and strengthening internal governance across the country.
