The international carrier Emirates has temporarily halted all flight operations to and from Dubai following a major disruption affecting air travel in the area. Passengers have been advised not to head to the airport as the suspension remains in place until further notice.

Airline officials explained that the move was taken as a precaution to protect passengers and crew after reports of security disturbances around the city. The situation created uncertainty around aviation activities near the airport, forcing authorities and airlines to act quickly.

The unexpected shutdown has disrupted travel plans for many passengers around the world, especially those who rely on Dubai as a key international transit hub. Many travellers connecting through the city have been left waiting for updates on when services will resume.

The airline has assured affected passengers that flexible options will be available, including flight rescheduling or ticket refunds. Officials say further announcements will be made once conditions improve and it is considered safe to restart regular flight operations. ✈️
