Abia 2027 Governorship Election Aspirant, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu, has commended the National Working Screening Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for conducting what he described as a transparent, peaceful and credible screening exercise for governorship aspirants across the country.

The screening exercise, which took place at the Kaduna State Governors Lodge, Asokoro Abuja, attracted several governorship contestants from different states of the federation seeking to fly the party’s flag in future elections.

Speaking after the exercise, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu expressed satisfaction with the level of organization and professionalism displayed by the committee, noting that the APC leadership has continued to demonstrate commitment towards strengthening internal democracy within the party.

He said the screening process further showed that the APC remains a party built on due process, fairness and respect for democratic values.

Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu also used the opportunity to call on the people of Abia State to remain united, focused and hopeful as the journey towards rebuilding the state gathers momentum.

According to him, the task of repositioning Abia cannot be achieved through division, bitterness or unnecessary political distractions, but through collective commitment and shared vision for a better future.

He reassured party faithful and supporters that the APC in Abia State remains strong, determined and prepared to offer purposeful leadership that will transform the state economically and socially.

The Abia 2027 Governorship Election Aspirant further stated that consultations and engagements with critical stakeholders across the state would continue in order to build a broad based movement capable of delivering sustainable development to the people.
