Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has stated that he believes more in practical action and delivery of projects than engaging in excessive political talk.
Governor Alia reportedly made the remark while addressing supporters and political stakeholders in his hometown, stressing that leadership should be measured by visible achievements and impact on the lives of the people rather than rhetoric.
The governor said his administration remains focused on governance, infrastructure development, security, and improving the welfare of residents across Benue State. According to him, the priority of his government is to continue implementing policies and programmes capable of delivering meaningful results to the people.
Alia further maintained that his style of leadership is centred on performance, accountability, and service delivery, insisting that tangible achievements would always speak louder than political propaganda.
The Benue governor also urged political actors and public office holders to place greater emphasis on development and problem solving rather than unnecessary political distractions.
Observers believe the statement may not be unconnected to growing political activities and alignments ahead of the 2027 general elections, as politicians across the country continue consultations and mobilization.
