Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Uche Ogah, has felicitated with renowned football administrator and sports promoter, Ejikeme Ikwunze, popularly known as “Mr Football,” on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Dr Ogah described Ejikeme Ikwunze as a respected sports personality, accomplished public servant, and administrator whose contributions to football development and public service have continued to earn him admiration across Nigeria.
He noted that beyond his reputation in the football community, Mr Football also served meritoriously in the civil service, where he distinguished himself through dedication, professionalism, and commitment to service.
Dr Ogah further recalled that the celebrant equally served as a Special Adviser during the immediate past administration in Abia State, where he contributed his quota to governance and youth development through sports related initiatives and public engagement.
According to the former minister, Ejikeme Ikwunze has remained a strong advocate for grassroots football development and talent discovery, inspiring many young Nigerians to pursue their dreams through sports.
He commended the celebrant’s consistency, humility, and passion for nation building, stating that his legacy in football promotion and public administration continues to stand him out as a worthy ambassador of Abia State.
Dr Ogah prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, and greater accomplishments for the celebrant as he marks another year.
