Abia 2027 Governorship Election Aspirant Mascot Uzor Kalu has declared that his political ambition is driven solely by the desire to serve the people of Abia State and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the state.

Speaking during an interaction with supporters and community stakeholders, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu stated that he has no hidden agenda or personal interest other than ensuring that the people of Abia experience purposeful leadership, inclusive governance, and practical development that touches every part of the state.

According to him, leadership should never be seen as an opportunity for personal enrichment or political pride, but as a sacred responsibility to improve the lives of the people. He emphasized that his passion for service has remained consistent over the years through his various engagements with youths, women, business owners, and vulnerable groups across the state.

The Abia governorship aspirant noted that the state is blessed with enormous human and economic potential, stressing that with sincere leadership and strategic planning, Abia can witness rapid transformation in infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic opportunities.

Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu further stated that his vision is to build a government that listens to the people, understands their daily struggles, and responds with policies that directly improve their standard of living. He added that the voices of ordinary citizens must remain central in governance and decision making.

He maintained that the future of Abia must be anchored on unity, inclusiveness, accountability, and service to humanity, noting that every community deserves equal attention and development. According to him, no part of the state should feel neglected or disconnected from government presence.

The governorship aspirant also reassured supporters that he remains committed to engaging with people at the grassroots level from Aba to Ohafia and Umuahia to Ukwa, in order to better understand their concerns and aspirations for the future of the state.

Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu called on the people of Abia to remain hopeful and continue believing in the possibility of a better state, adding that genuine transformation can only happen when leaders place the interests of the people above personal ambition
