Abia 2027 Governorship Election Aspirant, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu, has declared that the future of Abia State must be built on competence, transparency, inclusion and long term economic growth, insisting that more can still be done to improve the lives of the people.
In a personally signed message addressed to Ndi Abia, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu reflected on his life journey from Aba to the United States, highlighting his experiences in entrepreneurship, institution building, governance and public service as part of the foundation that shaped his leadership philosophy.
According to him, leadership goes beyond occupying political office, stressing that true governance must focus on understanding the people, creating opportunities, strengthening systems and leaving society better than it was met.
The Abia 2027 Governorship Election Aspirant noted that despite increasing resources and opportunities available to states across the country, many citizens still do not fully feel the impact of governance in their daily lives.
He stated that Ndi Abia deserve a government that is more transparent, accountable and intentional about delivering sustainable prosperity across every community in the state.
Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu further emphasized that the future of Abia cannot be driven by promises alone, but must rest on vision, competence, economic expansion, human capital development and people centered governance.
He explained that while economic growth remains important, government must also invest heavily in education, healthcare, innovation, youth empowerment, enterprise and community advancement in order to improve the overall quality of life of the people.
According to him, opportunities in Abia should not be concentrated in a few places or reserved for a select group of individuals, but made accessible to every hardworking citizen from Aba to Ohafia and Umuahia to Ukwa.
Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu maintained that his passion for service is not driven by politics alone, but by his strong belief that “More Can Be Done For Ndi Abia.”
He expressed optimism that with collective effort, Abia can become economically stronger, socially inclusive, globally competitive and truly people centered.
The governorship aspirant added that the state’s best days are still ahead, urging Ndi Abia to remain hopeful and committed towards building a brighter future for generations to come.
