The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abia State Command, has trained 107 private security personnel, urging them to uphold professionalism and vigilance in their duties.

The one-day capacity-building workshop, organized by the Command’s Private Guard Company Department, took place on August 2 at Girls High School, Abayi, Aba. The training was designed to enhance the skills of private guards in critical areas such as intelligence gathering, emergency response, fire safety, and effective guard duties.

Participants included guards and supervisors from 17 private security firms operating in the state. The NSCDC emphasized the importance of diligence and adherence to best practices in safeguarding lives and property.

The initiative underscores the Corps’ commitment to strengthening private security operations in Abia State.
