Hon. Amobi Ogah Hails Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu on Ph.D Milestone

Abuja, Nigeria – August 7, 2025

The Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon. Amobi Ogah, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, CFR, on the successful defense of his Ph.D thesis in Policy and Strategic Studies at the Abuja Leadership Centre, University of Abuja.

In his congratulatory message, Hon. Ogah described the feat as a “remarkable testament to discipline, vision, and the pursuit of excellence,” applauding Kalu’s ability to balance the rigours of public service with an unwavering commitment to academic growth.

“Your journey continues to inspire not just lawmakers but the entire nation. Achieving this level of academic excellence while holding such a critical office proves that with focus, determination, and grace, nothing is impossible,” Ogah stated.

He further noted that Rt. Hon. Kalu’s achievement adds value not only to the House of Representatives but also to the intellectual capacity of Nigerian leadership.

“This Ph.D in Policy and Strategic Studies will no doubt enrich our legislative discourse and policymaking. I am proud to associate with such brilliance and dedication,” Ogah added.

Hon. Ogah concluded by praying for greater wisdom and grace for the Deputy Speaker as he continues to serve the nation with distinction.
