Otti Congratulates Oriaku, Other South-East Appointees to Federal Character Commission

Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has congratulated Hon. Obinna Oriaku on his appointment as Commissioner representing Abia State in the Federal Character Commission (FCC).

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma, Governor Otti expressed appreciation to the President for the appointment and urged Oriaku to view the role as a call to render selfless and people-focused service to the nation.

He emphasized the importance of the FCC in promoting fairness and equity in the distribution of public offices and socio-economic opportunities across Nigeria, noting that such principles are vital to strengthening democracy, fostering unity, and driving development.

The Governor also extended his congratulations to other South-East appointees, including Mr. Peter Eze (Enugu), Hon. Jerry Alagbaoso (Imo), Hon. Nnoli Nkechi Gloria (Anambra), and Barr. Nwokpor Vincent Nduka (Ebonyi), urging them to justify the trust placed in them.

Governor Otti pledged his continuous support to ensure the appointees succeed in their responsibilities.
