Ayodele Warns Tinubu: U.S. Government Plotting Against You Ahead of 2027 Elections

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned President Bola Tinubu to remain alert amid rising tensions between Nigeria and the United States over alleged attacks on Christians.

Ayodele’s warning follows U.S. accusations that Nigeria has failed to protect Christian communities, and recent comments by President Donald Trump, who threatened possible military action if the killings persist.

In a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric alleged that the growing friction between Washington and Abuja was part of an orchestrated plan to destabilise Tinubu’s administration before the 2027 elections.

“I’ve repeatedly warned that America is working against Tinubu’s government, but many ignored it. When I talked about a possible coup, people criticised me. Now, look at what’s happening,” he said.

Ayodele described the situation as a “well-coordinated conspiracy” between local opposition figures and foreign allies aimed at weakening the president’s grip on power.

“Tinubu’s government must not take this lightly. It’s a deliberate strategy to remove him in 2027. The opposition has struck alliances with international powers to ensure he’s pushed out,” he alleged.

He urged the president to seek divine intervention and strengthen his administration internally.
“It’s a gang-up to remove you from office. The U.S. government doesn’t want Tinubu in 2027. He must be spiritually and politically vigilant,” Ayodele warned.

The statement comes after President Trump declared Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern,” accusing the government of failing to stop religious killings. In a fiery social media post, Trump said he had directed the Pentagon to “prepare for possible action,” threatening to cut aid and “go in guns blazing” if the violence continued, comments that sparked outrage from the Nigerian presidency.
