Jonathan Pays Courtesy Visit to Tinubu at Presidential Villa, Abuja

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, in what is being described as a routine high-level engagement between both statesmen.

The meeting, which took place on Wednesday afternoon at Aso Rock, had both leaders in a private discussion away from public view. Although no official details were released, the visit is believed to be part of ongoing consultations on national and regional issues affecting the country.

Photographs shared from the encounter showed Jonathan arriving at the Villa and being warmly received by President Tinubu before they went into discussions inside the President’s office. The session was held behind closed doors, with aides and officials not disclosing the agenda.

The development adds to a series of interactions between the two former and current leaders, who have continued to maintain political and diplomatic engagements over time.
