Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Uche Ogah, has extended warm congratulations to the first Bishop of Uturu, Rt. Revd Dr. Ekebuisi Chinonyerem, as he marks his 50th birthday anniversary.
In a statement released to commemorate the milestone, Dr. Ogah described Bishop Chinonyerem as a visionary spiritual leader whose life has remained dedicated to the service of God, humanity, and societal development. He noted that the bishop’s leadership within the Methodist Church Nigeria has continued to inspire hope, strengthen faith, and promote peace and unity across communities.
Dr. Ogah further commended the remarkable developmental strides witnessed under the bishop’s stewardship, particularly in the areas of youth empowerment, education, community outreach, and humanitarian service. According to him, Bishop Chinonyerem’s commitment to uplifting the less privileged and promoting moral values reflects the true essence of servant leadership and Christian devotion.
He stated that at 50, Bishop Chinonyerem has built a legacy of integrity, compassion, wisdom, and selfless service that will continue to inspire generations within and outside the church. He prayed that God grants him greater strength, divine wisdom, and many more fruitful years in His vineyard.
Dr. Ogah therefore joined family members, the Methodist Church Nigeria, friends, and well wishers across the country in celebrating the cleric on this golden jubilee celebration, while wishing him continued grace, peace, good health, and greater accomplishments in the service of God and humanity
