Chelsea Football Club has emerged as the top-earning team in this year’s FIFA Club World Cup, with the West London side set to receive an estimated $114.6 million in prize money from the global tournament. The victory not only secured them international glory but also placed them ahead of several European football giants in financial rewards.

Following a commanding 3-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the final, Chelsea claimed the coveted Club World Cup title. The match saw Cole Palmer shine with two first-half goals, while Joao Pedro added a third to seal the win. The dominant display underscored the tactical discipline brought in by manager Enzo Maresca.

Paris Saint-Germain, despite their impressive run to the final, will receive $106.9 million as tournament runners-up. They had earlier stunned Real Madrid with a resounding 4-0 win in the semi-finals. However, they were unable to replicate that performance against Chelsea in the final showdown.

Chelsea’s path to the trophy included a solid 2-0 win over Brazilian side Fluminense in the semi-finals, which paved the way for their confident performance against PSG. The team’s clinical finishing and solid defence were key in their journey to the title.

Real Madrid, another tournament favourite, secured third place and a prize purse of $82.5 million. With this victory, Chelsea not only reaffirmed their place among the world’s elite football clubs but also enjoyed a major financial boost ahead of the upcoming season.
