The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Sanusi Garba Rikiji, a former Speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, as the Director General of the Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations.

In a statement released by the party’s spokesperson, Yusuf Idris, the APC described the appointment as a demonstration of President Tinubu’s trust and affection for the people of Zamfara State.

“The APC, under the purposeful leadership of Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, remains fully loyal to President Tinubu and committed to supporting his transformational agenda for Nigeria,” the statement read.

While congratulating Rikiji on the appointment, the party encouraged him to continue being a worthy ambassador of the state and to remain a beacon of excellence in national service. It expressed confidence in Rikiji’s ability to drive the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda by revitalizing the country’s trade sector with innovative and visionary strategies.

The statement also recalled Rikiji’s tenure as Zamfara’s Commissioner of Finance, during which the state experienced economic revitalization, a boost in revenue generation, and increased foreign investment.

The party urged Rikiji to sustain his efforts in promoting impactful and progressive policies that align with President Tinubu’s development goals. It also thanked the President for recognizing talent from Zamfara and reassured him of the appointee’s capability to deliver on national responsibilities.

Concluding, the party offered prayers for President Tinubu, asking for divine guidance and protection as he leads the nation with vision and courage.
