A serious road accident left several passengers critically injured on Tuesday morning at the Isiala Ngwa–Ntigha Junction along the Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway in Abia State.
Emergency responders from the Abia State Emergency Response Team arrived swiftly at the scene and evacuated the victims to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
The crash, which occurred around 11:00 a.m., involved an 18-seater bus traveling from Ebonyi State to Aba. Eyewitnesses report that the impact of the collision caused severe injuries to many of the passengers.
