Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has declared that a time is coming when Nigerians will be highly respected across the world simply for being Nigerian. Delivering a sermon filled with optimism, Adeboye encouraged citizens to remain hopeful despite the country’s present struggles, affirming that God has not forsaken Nigeria.
Addressing his congregation, Adeboye said, “The day is coming when just showing your Nigerian passport will make people want to associate with you. I’m speaking primarily to Nigerians, though the message may resonate with others globally.” He passionately expressed his belief that a divine transformation is on the horizon—one that will shift Nigeria’s global image from negative perceptions to one of excellence and admiration.
Adeboye’s prophecy deeply moved many, especially given the current economic difficulties and international skepticism surrounding the country. His message offered not only spiritual comfort but also stirred a sense of patriotic pride among listeners.
“This isn’t just about being optimistic,” he clarified. “It’s a future that God Himself is preparing.” He emphasized that the Nigerian passport, often viewed with doubt, will one day be a source of honour and global recognition.
Through his message, Pastor Adeboye reaffirmed his consistent themes of redemption, hope, and divine transformation—reminding Nigerians that even in the face of adversity, their story is far from over and can be radically rewritten by God.
