The Lagos State Government has intensified efforts to modernise education by training teachers on the use of artificial intelligence and digital teaching tools.

The initiative is designed to help educators adapt to evolving classroom demands and improve how lessons are delivered to students. During the training programme, teachers were introduced to innovative teaching methods that incorporate technology, data-driven instruction, and problem-solving techniques.

Officials emphasised that the programme aims to prepare teachers for a rapidly changing educational landscape where digital skills are becoming increasingly essential. Participants were encouraged to integrate artificial intelligence into their teaching practices to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

According to education authorities, the move is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the quality of education in Lagos by aligning it with global technological trends. Teachers were also urged to embrace continuous learning to remain effective in a system that is increasingly influenced by digital transformation.
